A little about me

A creative techie & all-around happy chappy, living in Trim, County Meath.

I feel incredibly lucky to capture weddings for amazing couples, transforming a collection of moments into a story you’ll want to relive forever. Handing over a wedding film that brings your emotions back to life means more to me than words can say. It’s a true honor to create a piece of your history.

My approach is all about making you feel comfortable and at ease throughout the day. I focus on capturing genuine moments, allowing you to enjoy your celebration while I document every laugh, emotion, and look of love. Together, we’ll create a beautiful memory that future generations will cherish.

Hey, I'm josh

The spark started years ago when a friend said, “Josh, you have a camera, will you film my wedding?” I gave it a shot and I was hooked.

Even after all these years, that same excitement is still there every time I pick up my camera. There is something incredible about creating a film that brings couples straight back to the way their day felt, and that is what drives me.

I am here to document the real stuff, the natural, fleeting moments that cannot be staged. I might suggest a great spot or help with lighting when it makes sense, but mostly I will let things unfold naturally.

The best memories are always the ones that happen without anyone forcing them.

My goal is to make your day feel effortless, like having a friend with a camera by your side. Good planning is key, so I will work with you beforehand to shape a timeline that feels right, and collaborate closely with your photographer and other suppliers to keep things running smoothly.

I will arrive bright and early to capture the buzz and laughter of the morning. From the quiet moments of getting ready to the energy on the dance floor, I will be there, blending in, observing, and filming it all naturally.

One couple said, “Having you there felt like having a mate filming us,” and that is exactly the feeling I aim for with every wedding.

Rain, hail or shine, I won’t miss a beat.

Every wedding is a new story.

No two couples are ever the same, and that is what makes this work so special to me.
Your wedding will be different from any I have filmed before, and that is what keeps it exciting.

Outside of weddings, life is busy in the best way, with my wife Tracey, our daughter, and our mischievous miniature schnauzer keeping me on my toes.
They are my daily reminder of how important memories are, and why what I do matters.

Life is made up of moments, big and small. I am inspired by the energy, emotion, and pure joy that fills a wedding day, and my goal is to create a film that lets you relive all of that, not just now, but for years and generations to come.

“Every love story is different, and that is what keeps me inspired.”

When I am not filming, you will usually find me either at the gym or out running. Fitness has become a big part of my life, it keeps me focused, energised, and ready to chase the next adventure.

I am a big fan of movies and music too, not just for downtime, but for the way they tell stories and spark emotions. It is that connection, the way a song or a scene can instantly bring you back to a feeling, that really resonates with how I approach filmmaking.

Growing up by the coast in Devon, I loved surfing whenever I could.

I also care about the footprint I leave behind. Every couple I work with has a native Irish tree planted in their honour, and all my packaging is recyclable or compostable. It is a small way of giving back and helping your love story grow alongside the earth.

Thanks for taking the time to get to know a little more about me.
Every wedding is unique, and I would be honoured to capture yours in a way that feels true, timeless, and unforgettable.
